Terms of Use

Welcome to Grampets, a social network for pet lovers operated by CamelCase Technologies Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Grampets mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

User Conduct

You agree to use the Services in a manner consistent with their purpose. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of any third party
• Post harmful, illegal, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content
• Harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users
• Introduce malicious software
• Use automated means to access the Services
• Interfere with the Services operation

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Grampets. Objectionable content includes, without limitation, hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, graphic violence, sexual exploitation or pornography, scams, illegal activity, and content that exploits or endangers minors.

Users may report objectionable content or abusive behavior using the in-app Report tools (available on posts, comments, forum content, marketplace listings, profiles, and chats) or by emailing [email protected].

We review reports and, for valid reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior, we act within 24 hours by removing the offending content and ejecting (suspending or permanently banning) the user who provided it. Repeat or severe violations may result in immediate permanent ban.

By posting content, you grant CamelCase Technologies a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for operating and promoting the Services.

We may filter, hide, or remove content that violates these Terms, and we may use automated and manual tools to help prevent objectionable material from appearing on the Services.

You may block other users so you no longer see their content or messages. We also apply filtering measures intended to reduce the spread of objectionable text and other prohibited material.

Grampets provides a venue where users may list items for sale, list pets for adoption, browse those listings, and message other users. Listings, photos, descriptions, prices, pet health or temperament claims, and any conversation that follows are created by users, not by CamelCase Technologies Limited.

We do not currently verify users, listings, pets, payment methods, or identities. A profile, listing, or “Message” button is not a background check, a veterinary opinion, a title search, or an endorsement. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to deal with another person.

We are not a party to any sale, gift, rehoming, or adoption. We do not hold funds, process payments between users, guarantee delivery, or guarantee that a pet is healthy, available, or as described. Disputes, injuries, lost money, or failed transactions between users are between those users.

If you meet someone you contacted through Marketplace or the Adoption Hub, you agree to take reasonable precautions, including:

• Meet in a public place in daylight, and tell a friend or family member where you are going
• Do not send money, deposits, gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or payment-app funds to someone you have not met
• Do not share one-time passcodes, bank details, government IDs, or copies of personal documents in chat
• Inspect items and, for adoptions, the animal in person before you commit
• Leave immediately if you feel unsafe, and report scams or abusive behavior in the app or at [email protected]

These are practical safety steps, not a guarantee that you will not encounter harm or fraud. You use Marketplace, the Adoption Hub, and chat at your own risk.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, AND ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF USER CONTENT.

We do not warrant that other users are who they claim to be, that listings are genuine, that pets are healthy or available, or that communications on the Services are safe. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in those places, the exclusion applies only to the extent permitted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CamelCase Technologies Limited and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, goodwill, or pets, arising out of your use of the Services or any dealing with another user, even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us, if any, to use the Services in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) twenty-five U.S. dollars (US$25). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where that limitation is prohibited.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account without prior notice if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use, including for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
